Motorola Moto G6, G6 Plus, G6 Play announced: Price, specs, and features

Motorola has finally announced the launch of its Moto G6 series; Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play. The smartphones are already for sale in Brazil, and they will be available in more regions including India. In addition to the Moto G6 series, the Lenovo-owned company has also unveiled the Moto E5 lineup of smartphones.

In addition to the Moto G6 series, the Lenovo-owned company has also unveiled the Moto E5 lineup of smartphones.

 

Moto G6

Motorola Moto G6 sports a 5.7-inch screen with full-HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under its hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB RAM. The smartphone offers 32GB inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The Moto G6 has a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 12MP primary sensor f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, there is an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. This dual-SIM smartphone runs stock Android 8.0 Oreo OS and it packs a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options onboard include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and a 3.5mm earphone jack. The Moto G6 comes in Indigo and Silver color variants.

Moto G6 Plus

The Motorola Moto G6 Plus arrives with a slightly larger 5.93-inch full-HD+ IPS display with 1,080×2,160 pixels screen resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone makes use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon Snapdragon 630 processor, along with Adreno 508 GPU and 4GB RAM. The smartphone offers 64GB of internal storage and support for storage expansion up to 128GB via a microSD card. Moto G6 Plus’s camera department is same as that of the Moto G6. The smartphone runs stock Android 8.0 Oreo and it is backed by a 3,200mAh battery with TurboCharge support.
