For the unknown, Motorola Brazil has started sending out media invites for a launch event which is scheduled on April 19 at Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the company is expected to launch its much-anticipated Moto G6-series at the said event.
As for the renders, images have emerged showing the design theme and specifications of the Moto G6 Play while highlighting the fact that the three smartphones will be available in Black, Gold, Rose Gold, Indigo, and Silver color options. The images were posted on Instagram and were first spotted by SlashLeaks, which also reported that the Moto G6-series is based on the Moto X4 design.

Moto G6 is rumored to run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box and feature a 5.7-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The fingerprint scanner could be embedded in the home button at front and while the device is expected to sport with a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary along with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, at the front, there could be a 12-megapixel sensor with LED flash. The whole package is said to be backed by a 3000mAh battery.
Moto G6 Plus
Coming to the Moto G6 Plus, it is highly likely to come with a 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160) 18:9 IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor under-the-hood coupled with Adreno 508 GPU, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt memory, a dual rear camera setup similar to the Moto G6 and a 3200mAh battery.
Moto G6 Play
Previous rumors have suggested that the Moto G6 Play might come with a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1440) 18:9 IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 SoC under-the-hood coupled with Adreno 505 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and the whole package is expected to be backed by a 4000mAh battery. In terms of optics, the G6 Play could be launched with a single 13-megapixel sensor at the rear and a 5-megapixel selfie sensor.
