“I will write to the prime minister Modi, asking him to make provisions for bank examinations, organised by the Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection, to be written in Kannada,” said CM Siddaramaiah here on September 10 in Mysuru.
Speaking to reporters CM said that a delegation from the Kannada Development Authority had already visited the authorities concerned and he would write to the prime minister. “Officials must know Kannada for the the smooth functioning of banks,” he added.
While reacting to derecognition of KSOU, Siddaramaiah said that the irregelularities committed by a former vice-chancellor of the varsity resulted in derecognition. “I have written to the prime minister in this regard,” he added.
