Hubballi: Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha leader Vatal Nagaraj has said that he and members of various organisations will protest in Goa on September 22, opposing the Goa State government’s alleged stubborn nature that was coming in the way of resolving the Mahadayi dispute.
Speaking to reporters, Nagaraj said the agitators had planned to enter Goa via Karwar and cordon off the administrative headquarters of the Goa State Government in Panaji.
Members of the Kannada Okkoota, a congregation of various Kannada organisations, will participate in the proposed agitation in large numbers, he said.
Taking a dig at the politicians of Karnataka, Nagaraj said leaders of all the parties had failed to ensure justice to the people and farmers of the State in the Mahadayi issue.
The State BJP and Congress, both have failed to do their duties to ensure development of North Karnataka, he said.
