HUBBALLI: Special investigation team (SIT) sleuths who are investigating the murder case of journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh, searched houses of Amit Baddi and Ganesh Miskin, who were arrested by the team recently in Hubballi. The police brought Ganesh Miskin to his house and he was also allowed to speak to his mother for a brief time.
The team visited the houses on Saturday and Sunday and recovered a few documents.
It also visited Amit Baddi’s house at Tadpatri Galli on Saturday and collected Aadhaar and voter ID of the accused.The team visited Ganesh Miskin’s house at Chaitanya Nagar and gathered information from his parents and other members of the house.
They took photographs of Miskin’s certificates and later they visited the incense stick manufacturing unit run by Miskin at Nekar Nagar.
When Ganesh entered his house at Chaitanya Nagar, he burst into tears and hugged his mother. Ganesh was repeatedly telling his mother that he did nothing and was trying to pacify her not to cry and worry about him.
After the arrest of Ganesh Miskin, his family is facing trouble to manage the daily expenses. Ganesh is the sole bread winner of the family and his younger brother had no job till recently. It was only after the arrest of his elder brother, the younger one started going for jobs to feed his mother and older sister.
