People are going gaga over Meghan Markle’s engagement ring, which was personally designed by Prince Harry. The beautiful piece is being considered by many as priceless, since it contains parts of late Princess Diana’s personal jewellery collection. However, if you are totally sold over the design, you can get a lookalike, and that too only for £33 (Rs 2,800 approximately).
The original ring, comprises a center stone, along with two side stones on a gold band. Prince Harry got the center stone sourced especially from Botswana, South Africa, a place he recently took a trip to with his lady love. And the side stones, used to belong to Prince Harry’s late mother Princess Diana.
While Meghan’s ring was created by Cleave and Company, a similar looking ring is available on Argos, a British high street retailer with both online and physical stores for £33. This ring is an 18ct gold plated silver ring, and instead of diamonds, comprises cubic zirconia.

Meghan and Harry dated for about a year and a half before getting engaged this month. They were introduced by a mutual friend, and apparently knew very little about each other before that meeting. They plan to tie the knot in the spring of 2018.
While many weren’t sure if the Prince would make his relationship with Meghan official, it looks like the Suits actress’ divorce and her African-American ancestry were being seen as matters of concern as well. The good news is that the British royal family silenced many and keeping in line with the 21st century, accepted things that were unimaginable a few years ago.
