“Muniratna Kurukshetra”, which is being made in 2D and 3D is into post-production in work full swing. And now according to sources, the audio of the film will be released in month of April. The music rights of the mythological drama has been sold to Lahari audio company for a huge price.
The makers are preparing for a mega audio launch, which in all likelihood, will take place by end of April. The music scored by V Harikrishna, is accompanied with lyrics written by Nagendra Prasad. The album consists of four major songs, with bits that includes slokas and skanda padya.
With assembly elections around the corner, some people opine that the audio release will not take in April as code of conduct will be in place at that time. “Muniratna Kurukshetra” has many politicians across political parties involved in the film. While the film’s producer Munirathna is a Congress MLA, who is expected to stand again for elections, Lahari Velu, who owns Lahari Audio, which has acquired music rights of the film, is reportedly going to stand from Chamrajpet constituency on BJP ticket.
It is not only these two, Ambareesh, who is playing pivotal role in the film is a Congress MLA and he may also stand for electiosn again. All these may further delay the audio launch. The film directed by Naganna, is Darshan’s 50th film. The historical drama features actors Ambareesh, Srinath, Arjun Sarja, Ravichandran, Ravi Shankar Nikhil Kumar, Sneha, Sonu Sood, Danish Akthar Saifi, Meghana Raj, Hariprriya among others. The film has cinematography by Jayanan Vincent.
